The Gator 550-G™ is a low-power industrial controller based on the compact PCI-104 (3.6”x3.8”) platform and the SIS550™ chipset. PCI-104 is a standard of PC/104 controllers that refers to a module that supports PCI exclusively. The SIS550 chipset is a high-performance “system on chip” which features an integrated 200MHz x86 processor, one (1) 32-bit PCI-104 expansion, built-in graphics, AC’97 sound, 10/100 ethernet, a 44-pin ATA/100 EIDE connector, USB 1.1, RS232 serial, a parallel port, mouse/keyboard inputs and a floppy controller. These features combined with the Gator 550-G’s minimum power consumption and small size makes it a perfect fit for deeply embedded applications. Target market segments include, but not limited to: Hand-held size and battery-powered applications, information appliances, display controllers, automotive applications and security products.
